FAQ: Backoffice Access, Exports and Reporting

What is the Receive Backoffice address?

RegionAddress
EUhttps://receive.indebted.co
Francehttps://receive-fr.indebted.co
UShttps://receive-us.indebted.co

The old receeve.eu addresses redirect to these. If your password manager stops filling in your login, update the saved website to the new address.

I forgot my Backoffice password. How do I reset it?

On the login page, choose Forgot your password? and then Reset password, and enter your email address. A reset code is sent by email; enter it together with a new password. If you already have a code, use Already have a reset code?. Passwords need at least 12 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol.

My invitation has expired or my temporary password no longer works. What do I do?

Invitations are valid for 7 days. If the login page says your invitation has not been completed, use Resend my invitation to receive a new one (at most once every 5 minutes, and 5 times a day). An administrator can also resend it. If your account is already active, use Reset password instead.

The invitation or password reset email never arrived.

These emails are sent from no-reply@receive-auth.indebted.co and are often caught by spam filters. Check your spam folder and ask your IT team to allow that sender. Also check that you entered exactly the email address your account was created with.

I get "invalid credentials" but my password is correct.

Common causes:

  • An old password saved in the browser or password manager.
  • Sign-in is temporarily locked after repeated failed attempts. Wait, or use Reset password.
  • A company network or browser extension is blocking the sign-in request.

To narrow it down, try a private browser window, then another network (for example a phone hotspot). If either works, ask your IT team to allow the Backoffice sign-in traffic.

How can an administrator help a user who cannot sign in?

A user whose role includes Configuration > Users can open the user and use the Actions menu: Resend invite for a user who has not finished signing up, Reset password for an active user (a reset code is emailed and the old password stops working), and Reset MFA for a user who has lost their authenticator app. A disabled user must be enabled first. See Users.

Where do I find my Client API credentials?

Under Configuration > API Credentials, for users whose role includes that page. You can reveal, copy and regenerate the App Client ID and Secret there. See FAQ: Integration and the Client API.

My claim export never appeared. Where is it?

Finished exports are listed under Dashboard > Reports. The message on screen only waits a short time, so a large export can finish after it closes. See Reports.

Can I export tasks?

Yes. Filter the task list and tick the tasks you want (or select all), then choose Actions > Export, pick the columns and export. Download the file from the notification that appears; the link is valid for 15 minutes. The export uses the filters currently active on the list, and columns with personal data are only included if you tick them.

How far back can I see a claim's strategy history?

The claim timeline shows roughly the last three months of strategy activity. Financial events, such as creation, debits, credits and amount changes, stay on the timeline permanently. Older strategy history is kept in long-term storage and can be requested through support.

Do a claim's open tasks close automatically when the claim is resolved?

Only if your client has this setting enabled; it is off by default and switched on by the Receive team on request. When enabled, open tasks on a claim are resolved when the claim is resolved or deleted. Account-level tasks that are not linked to a claim are not affected.
